Man that history document is itself pretty much history. Last edit 2000 I 
think? :crying-laughing-emoji:  Thanks to Mike Brown if he's still 
watching this list.

The IDM and ambient mailing lists along with a smattering of still-active 
regional US rave mailing lists are still run from DIY hardware sitting in 
a colo, recently relocated from a colo in SF to a colo in San Jose but 
still pretty much the same setup as 1999. Always has been ad-free (aside 
from the welcome if appropriately labeled Blatant Self Promos), always 
will be. And with social media and the surveillance state so intertwined 
and toxic, email mailing lists feel like a vinyl 7 inch of a throwback 
that'll outlast the rest. So I'll be here awhile and hope the rest of you 
will be too!
