virtual book club event with Simon Reynolds

Hi all -
I've got a work event that I'm excited to host that may be of interest to
subscribers on this mailing list.

I run an online Sci-Fi Short Story Club where we met monthly to chat SF
short stories, novellas and such. I frequently have guests, and coming up
I'll have author Simon Reynolds in to talk about his new book *Futuromania*
and *J.G. Ballard's "The Sound-Sweep"* - an incredible early novelette of
Ballard's featuring sonovacs, ultra-sonic music, and a tragic opera singer.

Simon Reynolds is the author of *Energy Flash/Generation Ecstasy*,
*Retromania*, *Rip It Up and Start Again *and many others. One of the great
writers on electronic music.

The event is open to the public, not just LAPL card holders.
