Cesar, I'm right with you. Jay and the band , I'm sure, are far more accessible on the European continent than here stateside. I certainly don't think you're unpopular for stating so. It's good to be writing threads and opinions again-----I was wondering what had happened. I have yet to even see the band perform on TV, let alone see them live. The DVD side of my "Dynamite" CD was certainly informative------it was great to hear Jay talking, and watching him make the "Feels Like It Should" video. Watching the movie "Napoleon Dynamite" sealed the deal for me as far as Jamiroquai......I was hooked. And they have a fan base as far as Chile and Argentina..........totally awesome! So listen everyone, keep writing and keep enjoying this band.....I do, and I'm in my 40s. I'm waiting for Jamiroquai to come to San Diego.....someday, I hope. Take care and rock on...................Don from San Di

I don't think the Jamiroquai bandwagon has run out of steam. I think instead
that the EUROPEAN fans have been spoiled for far too long, are bored and are
now taking the band for granted. I mean, Jamiroquai tour and appear on tv
shows all across Europe. It's fairly easy for an European to jump on a plane
or a train and go check them out.

There probably isn't one single European Jamiroquai fan who hasn't seen them
live at least 5 times. For fans elsewhere it's much harder to follow them
and we basically have to do with the "leftovers". We have to sit and pray
we'll get to see them live. Until a couple of weeks ago, the Brazilian shows
were still unconfirmed... And to think they even didn't come to Latin
America with the AFO tour... The last - and first! - time I saw them live
was in 1999 on the Synk tour. 7 long years ago...

But I still love them despite this and I'm not complaining like a child.

I remember a particular member here moaning about their live shows
(tracklisting + sound) on the last tour and saying she wasn't going to see
them live again on that tour... I thought: "how petulant!". "Good" for her
that she can boycott Jamiroquai like this. Other fans aren't given the same
luxury! We just have to do with what we're given - which is basically the cd
release.

I just hope fans that have much more access to Jamiroquai than others
perceive what a rare and extraordinary opportunity they have in their hands
and enjoy it. There are millions of others (myself included) who would like
to be in their shoes and be able to to enjoy Jamiroquai far more.

Cesar
