a Stretford, Manchester) è un musicista funk inglese. È cantante e
leader della sua band, i Jamiroquai.

Stravagante, Jason Kay è un grandissimo ecologista. In ogni canzone
tratta argomenti che riguardano la salvezza della terra, gli animali,
l'ecosistema. È anche un fautore della pace del mondo e le sue canzoni
sono spesso anche una denuncia alle guerre, di qualsiasi tipo esse
siano.

E' un grande amante dei berretti. Ne ha più di 60, arrivando a spendere più di 36.000 euro per uno.

Ha una passione per le auto care e rapide, in special modo Ferrari. Tra
le auto da lui possedute figurano l'esclusiva Ferrari Enzo, una
Lamborghini Diablo, una Lamborghini Miura, e 25-30 altre Ferrari.
Alcuni dei suoi modelli personali sono stati utilizzati per i video
musicale delle canzoni "Cosmic Girl" e "Alright". Per la sua passione
per i motori e per la sua collezione di auto sportive, è apparso varie
volte al programma della BBC Top Gear, presentato da Jeremy Clarkson,
dove ha spiegato che lui da piccolo adorava giocare con i modellini di
quelle auto, e quando ha potuto permettersele, le ha comprate in scala
naturale.

Recentemente ha fondato la sua linea di vestiti sportivi, chiamata
Quai, la quale è a carico del designer Hugo Boss. La collezione “JK for
Hugo”, disegnata dallo stesso cantante, comprenderà giacche di pelle da
motociclista, guanti da corsa e camicie aderenti. Ovviamente, include
anche i cappelli "alla Jay Kay". In pratica esattamente il look che ti
aspetti da un fanatico di corse e motori.

Jason Kay, also known as Jay Kay (born December 30th, 1969 in Stretford, Manchester), is an english funk musician.  He is the sing and leader of his band, jamiroquai.

"Extravagent"(in this context however prolly means more like fanciful or offbeat), JK is a major ecologist.  Every song is about matters that refer to the conservation of the land, animals and the eco-system.  He is also a promoter of peace in the world and his songs are often a denunciation of wars, whatever they may be. (friggin subjunctive and literary pronouns)

He is also a great lover of hats.  He has more than 60 of them, coming close to spending more than 36,000 Euro for one.  

He has a passion for fast and expensive cars and for Ferrari in particular(a little libery there cause literal just doesn't work well in inglese.)  Among the cars owned by him, he has the exclusive Ferrari Enzo, a Lamborghini diablo, a Lamborghini miru, and 25-30 other Ferrari's.  Some of his personal models were used for music videos of Cosmic girl and Alright.  For his passion for cars and his collection of sportscars, he has appeared various times on BBC Top Gear, hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, where he explained that he, as a little boy, liked to play with little models of these cars, and where he was able to buy himself them (that was tricky), he bought them in their full size.  (Lol "natural scale")

Recently he founded his own line of sporty clothes called Quai, which is a division of the designer Hugo Boss.  THe collection "JK for Hugo", designed by the singer himself, will include leather motorcycle jackets, racing gloves, and comforming shirts.  obviously, it also includes hats "Alla jay kay".  In practice exactly, it is the look that you expect from a racing and car fanatic.

Obviously I took some liberties because translating word for word isn't translat and can often result in ridiculous renditions.  Engrish for example:)  Anyway I hope that was functional at worst and relatively close to the tone of the original despite various mixes of literal translations and idiomatic english renditions of italian idioms.
