Hi Bruce,

Yeah, as to where these images in the clearings came from, that's a most difficult pancake indeed...an insider with privileged information and Poetry 201-and-beyond experience might know who that monkey would represent.

'No Borders Here' is at www.smoe.org/nbh/
A nice archive of lyrics, interviews, discography there.
I'm a newbie - I think this site might have been the place to go before Jane started the Sheeba site -?

Thanks!, Steve (& Ben),

I agree with what you suggest: the tent as a self /home, the linearity of
the stream (like life), the autumnal tears...

side-stepping back at the last minute.

Wow!! We do have something like that... But I don't think we're ever going
to hear the 35 minute version, alas!

I'm hungry for more particulars. I wish she's said more about the different
clearings. I need to read this again.

The one that comes to mind is when they are watching TV, a movie?, about a
monkey. It strikes me that her feeling towards the monkey are maternal. Yes?

Bruce

PS Where do I find the 'No Borders' website?
