PLAIN JANE
The songwriter Jane Siberry was an indie-pop secret in the late 80's who
won a devoted following as she reinvented the sort of mysterious,
allusive music Kate Bush pioneered. Ms. Siberry alienated some of her
fans in the 90's, when she took a slight turn into New Age. Tonight the
spiritually inclined and deeply earnest Ms. Siberry plays the second of
three intimate nights at Joe's Pub.
