Beatles building up over the years

Re precocious, and living in England (?), 
at the time of their apex as songwriters, 1967,
John was 26-27 & Paul was 24-5.

Also, one could say that Joni's Hissing is precocious, since her subject
matter is so mature-- whereas teh Dreaming has the energy and intensity of
a younger woman.
