I'd forgotten about it myself. So much stuff going on right now, with the buying of two businesses and the building one is in. Not to mention combining two households into one new one (I was fearful that one of the businesses we bought would be a boxing/shipping outlet, if I see another cardboard box it will be too soon). Yesterday, the post delivered to nice items, one very important piece was the official letter from the Government accepting my eligibilty to sponser my wife's immigration (we got the call from the lawyer saying they'd gotten it, fittingly enough on my birthday.) The other was a birthday card from my brother, a belated card (more on that in a sec). It'd been in essence a birthday week. Friday was "the" day, but my wife and I celebrated the next night too, a cosy dinner out with just the two of us, and some more later that night back home. That day was the day I went in and got an earring pierced in, for my 45th. Sunday and Monday night we had two very sucessful dinners that I experimented at the cooking of. And Tuesday we got an "all but formally approved" notice on the mortgage, all they need now are a couple pieces of paper to support our case on that. That night we had a friend over for a nice dinner party, where I also did the majority of the cooking. A wonderful evening. We should have the final approval by Friday for the mortgage, and we will be all set. Hmmm, yes, we also got a truck, my wife does not want to drive her car here in the winter, so she got a 4w drive. It was obtained on my birthday. So now on to the card from my brother. It's fitting to wish Jane a birthday after the fact.. A belated birthday wish, I would have sent it sooner, but that would not have made any sense, as a belated birthday wish on time would just be silly. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Williams" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, October 14, 2005 10:07 AM Subject: jane's birthday > geez.....nobody posted 'bout jane's birthday. slow around these parts. > > and then - jane posted herself! > > i don't think it's a coincidence that the last museletter was released > on october 12, jane's special day. > > -- > michael (awaiting _aerial_) > > > When we made love > Sometimes it was great > Just once or twice > I would have called it second rate > Anyway the days passed by in peace > I never though you needed > More release > > I would of tried a little harder > I would have cried a little louder > I would have lied with more aplomb > I, I, I, I, I, I, I should have known > > -- Pretenders, "I Should Of", from the album _Loose Screw_ (2002)
