Kate's machinery? DRM?

For me, Kate's post-Dreaming decline was epitomized by her using drum
machines in Hounds. Instead of the rhythmic complexity of the Dreaming, we
had the boring, rigid pulse of the machine. Ugh. This allowed Kate to do
more herself, in the studio by herself, and not bother with bringing in
drummers, percussionists. But at a great loss, for these ears. 

So, how much drum machinery is found in Aerial? That robotic techno pulse...?

And another question, for Glenn: 

What is this evil DRM? Is it in Aerial?
