Bristol Concert

I am happy to report that Jane is as amazing as ever. Better than amazing.
Superficials first - the venue was beautiful, she was beautiful. One tiny
guitar, one grand piano. A good size audience - 200? She seemed pleased at
the turn out.

She wove the whole show into a free flowing narrative, new and old,
including a medley (yes, really) based on requests from the audience. My
five year old was only disappointed by the lack of Mimi, loved the rest,
smitten by Jane and her sparkly silver suit. Jane was as profound and funny
and goosebumpingly, hauntingly, blissfully, creative as ever.  The new songs
were surprising in their conciseness and immediacy. She was joking about
radio play and her next big hit but a couple would make pretty good pop
records!
