The last time Jane was in Chicago she made available a stack of cd's
with those three songs (the third one is "You Can't Judge a Book" or
something like that) on it, with a smallish hand-lettered sign detailing
how you 'pay as you go'.  I dropped a largish denomination bill into the
shoebox (yes! a shoe box with a slot torn in the top like we used to use
in gradeschool for Valentines!), and grabbed five of them.  I've given
them all away but one that I asked her to sign for me.  It gave me a
little (possibly false) hope that there might still be hard-copy music
coming from her, but sadly, that train may have passed.

I bought the 3 new songs off her website a few months back. ANytime,  
If I ever see Mark Benson, and another (names escapes me ). I don't  
listen too them much.

I did not go to see her in Northampton last month as I always do..  
so- my loyalty is waning.


Meanwhile, I've got all the old stuff loaded onto ipod and it's  
interesting to pick Jane Siberry and hear her entire library played  
in shuffled/random order.
