Girl, can you feel my love? I too did a butt-load of reading once I got
the first post, and I'm so glad that folks are not jumping my or anyone
else's crap about posts. We get to have opinions, and it's been
wonderful to get so many different points of view. We're a diverse
little group I believe, but there's so much universal about us, I'm glad
there's not been anything divisive enough to make us be mean to each
other. I check out youtube.com pretty regularly, and it never ceases to
amaze me just how many people out there in cyberland simply log on to be
evil to other people. Now, don't get me wrong, I put the EEEE! in Evil,
but only to those loved ones of mine that are SO derserving. I couldn't
imagine even posting anonymous ugliness about people I don't even know!

Anyway, I love it when out little list comes alive, and generally, it's
due to someone posting something a bit controversial or topically
energized, then it's off to the races! Truly, I read every post and
like you all...I really really do!

Thanks!

I don't know what made you start talking about people logging in to be evil
to others. I made a point to say at the end of my post that I was not attacking
anyone, just listing my thoughts from reviewing the website of Cat Stevens
and trying to have some humor. I had liked his a music a lot as a teenager.
There's a lot I remember about that time period and reading about eastern
religions including Hinduism, and some of my friends were reading Siddhartha, and Cat
Stevens was on the radio. It is a bit of a downer to me that after that
open-minded period, he went down the path of strict fundamentalism, including that
of how women should dress, but I also think he is in a position to help a lot
of people by virtue of this path he chose. So I'm sure he's in the right place
and path. I can tease a little about burkhas but I think he's probably a
pretty good guy all in all and he is definitely working for peace now since 9/11.
Whether I would enjoy the new cd or not, I have no idea till I check it out. I
hope I have a right to have a sense of humor about Cat Stevens; I'm shy enough
as it is and almost never post, please don't ascribe motivations to my post
that I specifically pointed out I did not have.
