Trouble is a great song -- probably my favorite of his. On the new record,
which I listened to for the first time last night, he redoes the song I Think
I See The Light a portion of which was used in Harold and Maude (my favorite
film) in the scene when Vivian Pickles (the mother) tells Harold that she
has signed him up for a dating service and, as she walks away, he flips her off
and takes a welding torch to his new Jaguar.
His voice is deeper and, I think warmer, while he still sound very much like
himself.
It's a good record regardless of whether or not I agree with his beliefs.

yeah, he really did write some good tunes, including some used in Harold and
Maude, like "trouble": http://zensite.home.att.net/haroldandmaude/
I don't think I actually liked his songs as much when they first came out
till a few years after all my friends did; i think his voice got on my
nerves at
