Tarkovsky or Kieslowski?

Hi All,

David (R) thought he'd read an interview wherein Jane said that "The 
Walking" was influenced by Tarkovsky or Kieslowski.

Does anyone know anything more about that? Any suggestions, leads?

PS I googled "JS" walking and these two names.
Nothing came back with T.
A pile of hits came back with Kieslowski but nothing on the first 3 
pages seemed at all relevant. ..
