I like too many of them to pick a fave! But I think right now I agree with David's husband (husband, no matter what the courts say): "Oui Allo?" I love the subject, the music, the optimism. In fact, I think the entire CD is full of genuine optimism, which is so nice to hear. Does anyone remember reading Issa's journal entry about "Oui Allo?" while she was making the cd? I don't remember all of the details, but the gist was that she saw it as a conversation between Jane and Issa, with Issa representing the possibilities, the next horizon -- the "inheritance." Gotta say that the only one that hasn't grown on me is "Send Me Someone to Love." Yet. I'll leave the door wide open... --- On Tue, 12/23/08, David Rieken <[email protected]> wrote: From: David Rieken <[email protected]> Subject: Re: fave To: "Nicola Thornhill" <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] Date: Tuesday, December 23, 2008, 8:37 AM My favorite right now is"Grace". That and "Send Me Someone to Love". Unfortunately, "Grace" seems to have a little electronic tick through it. I don't know if this is intentional or not. Does anyone else's have this? My husband's (husband as of now; waiting to hear what the courts decide) favorite is "Oui Allo?".
