I owned this cd for at least a couple of years before I could get  
into it.
Just didn't like the drum machines and 80s sounds at first I guess.
I never cared for the Waitress, really, and it took a long time for  
Mimi to grow on me.
My major stand out favorite is Map of the World*, and then Symmetry.
It wasn't until I started to hear her sing You Don't Need in shows  
that that one grew on me.
These days I do enjoy the album as a whole (listened through last  
night btw), but feel
it's definitely a fan's record; can't say I would ever recommend it  
to anyone just getting into Jane.  `lisa
