This was the first JS record I heard around the time of its release,
having fully caught up on all the catalog by then.  I was blown away by
the first four songs immediately (and an angel stepped down).  It's
taken me longer to appreciate the rest.  I don't think I still do, fully.

Anyway, my strongest memory about this is that I was at a performance
art piece a little while after it came out, and the artist began by
singing Calling All Angels a cappella, while doing a slow dance.  It was
pretty magical.
