WIWAB - my most favorite cd. just made a trip in my car this weekend and put
on this cd with a friend who had never heard of jane. - wow. it's very hard
for me to share jane with others, but she was open and receptive. i was able
to listen and share all at the same time, and i tell you - while driving i
almost felt as if i would leave the pavement and go airborne - in a good way.
i was truly in an altered state as i sang along - at times the top of my
lungs. it was a most euphoric experience. 
 
i love:
temple,
calling all angels (such a sweet young high voice in this version),
love is everything (also - sweet and high),
 
especially love:
sail across the water (and to sing along)
all the candles in the world
the gospel according to darkness
 
i skip sweet incarnadine every single time - i made myself listen to it
yesterday, and i just can't listen to this song.
 
i am CRAZY about:
an angel stepped down   - i love to sing along with "the love you make, the
love you take, and so we give, give, give again a a a a a aaa a a again....",
and "were you not asking for this dance?  ...chance?  ... come on..." etc but
then at the very end of the song when the cello or bowed bass does that thing
where it goes really reaalllly reaaaaaallllly low? - i turn that WAY up coz,
ohmigosh. wow. i would have liked to have managed the sound on this album. i
would have highlighted a lot of things that are just too low in volume that i
really want to hear and hear them well. i sing all the parts in this song. i
love the back and forth. it's SO beneficial to listen to this WITH the words
in hand and the really good headphones to give it every single iota of your
attention. it's amazing. i loooooove it.
 
i like - the vigil... the words and sounds of "are these yours or mine?" and
"you're so thin, you're so light..." and "well, we all need love..." - come to
mind a lot in my every day life.  there is a squeaky sound in this song that
my chair makes the exact same noise. it's really weird.
 
the bells are a nice touch
 
and my number 1 most all time favorite song of jane's is...
at the beginning of time ... i am just crazy about it.   did y'all see that
link i sent of the baby in the womb set to this song? that was pretty cool,
except i kept wondering if the baby was ok with such an intrusion on his safe
and dark world. apparently she was ok, coz when he/she opened her eyes, she
didn't seem to react to the light, must have still been in his embryonic
stupor.
 
love is everything harmony version - essential.
 
this cd is amazing. i have 2 copies, because well, you never know, and i can't
let the original cd that i first listened to out of my sight - because that is
the one that affected me so - over and over and over again.  it's like it has
my energy now. when i loan this cd out - i loan out the new one. talk about
attachments.
 
thanks for letting me share my love for this cd. it's the most touching work
of art that i have ever experienced. very spiritual for me. i could talk all
day about it.

this was my first jane album - a friend bought it for me because he knew how
much i liked kate bush, and thought i would be into this album as well.

my friend was right.
