Oh Dear Tracy!

Yesterday I saw the news... a wasteland where Joplin homes used to 
be. The ripped off trunks of trees were more visible than the 
foundations of the houses.

I grew up in Missouri.. but left before we experienced anything like 
that. Then some years ago my place in Florida was hit by a 
hurricane... so the street was just rubble. But it was a crew cut, 
not a head shave, and the houses were mostly intact. The uprooted 
trees and brush protected the houses-- as long as some pine whopper 
didn't come down through your roof. This was all a piece of cake 
compared to what your facing. I wouldn't know how to carry on after 
such devastation.
