Jane Siberry moved to New York?

An Ontarian friend who (also?) now lives in NYC just wrote to me:

Is this true? Has "our" Jane moved down there?
Or was this already a well-known fact, which I missed out on?

PS Just heard a fitting Canada Day joke, in regard to Canada's 
relation to its pushy neighbor to the south:
"Hey, We're bigger than they are.... and we're above them!"
