Wowee, Tracy. Thank you for sharing all of that. Magical stuff, even for
someone such as me who has somewhat fallen off the Jane bandwagon, having felt
kind of disconnected from her 21st-century output.

I would love to see the video -- the dropbox method sounds fine by me.

So happy for you, and for Joplin too!

Subject: tracy's synopsis of the jane siberry salon in joplin, missouri PART
4

part 4:

if you want to know about
the show - you are just going to have to contact me
to see the video. ok? OR, i can add you to my dropbox folder and you can
download it.
i was in total bliss during the whole show, and just, well, it was like
shock.
blissful shock. my wonderful friend, jill, who sat near to me, said she tried
so hard to get a photo of me watching jane, because it was nothing short of a
look of total bliss.
the show started at 8 with the opening guest (the phenomenal Janell
Sitton-Coats) playing for about 15 minutes, somewhere around 10pm the concert
ended, the reception til about 11:30ish.
jane said that sometimes a drive is a nice thing to do after a concert, i
asked her if she would like that or just to go home. home it is. i had a
goodie basket for her with a robe, some bunny
 slippers (that match mine)
towels, gifts, a thanks for coming card, some chocolate. she showered, wore
the robe, bunny slippers and communed with the dogs by the fire. she looked
me
in the eyes and said, "Tracy, the salon was top notch." (no, no
 no, say it
in your head like JANE from CANADA! "Tracy, the salon was top notch." there,
much better!) i was so relieved. i so wanted her to have a
 pleasant
experience.
she said she wanted to write her blog so off to my bedroom to do that. (she
stayed in my bedroom and I, in the guest bedroom blow up bed.) because she
said i could come and go as i pleased in my bedroom, i had to pop in and ask
to take a photo of her in my bed, "of course!" she says. (stop it you guys.)
jane - fully robed and just computering while sitting in MY bed. she
commented before sleep that i was free to go to church, and she would be fine
at my house alone.
after church, i came in the house, where she was on my couch with her
computer. she said, something like, 'good! i am so glad you're here, set
your
things down, get settled and sit down and talk to me.' this was it, folks.
this was when i felt like we really connected. this was the conversation i
was hoping to have with jane. how delightful. we talked for an hour? and a
half? who knows? she said she was getting hungry and could we go and have
lunch/brunch. i offered her eggs (organic cage-free) with cheese, sliced
avocado and toast.
  perfect. i made jane
breakfast! me! lil ole me made
jane breakfast! she kept asking for more toast. it was like sliced round
loaf
marble rye. large pieces. she just kept asking for more. apparently craving
carbs - she said. we spoke of clutter over breakfast, and what i can do with
some of my neighbor's property to add some backyard to my property. after
breakfast, she layed down on my kitchen floor in front of my fridge and
wrestled with dexter, my chocolate lab. thank god i mopped!
we went for coffee at starbucks via a VERY short
 drive around what is
probably 2% of joplin. i didn't even get to show her what was cool about my
hometown. too soon we needed to be off to the airport, this time in Joplin.
she asked me to drop her off, i helped her with her bags, hugged her,
thanked
her for coming, kissed her cheek (or did she kiss mine? or did we both do
cheek kissing?), told her i love her. (she loves me, too.) she said that she
was warmed by her experience here in joplin.
you know, that
tuesday before the concert? i felt happier than i have ever
been, i felt absolutely alive and complete. i felt whole. even before she
came. i was pretty sure i would immediately pass away after this experience.
but i haven't, yet. must be more joy to come. AND since i have felt whole,
i
will always have that feeling inside there somewhere, just waiting to bubble
up to be felt, again.
Thank you ever so very much for sharing this
 experience with me, it has
multiplied my joy more than you can ever know. thank you!!
with love and jane-joy-alive-ness,tracy
