I became a fan in 1986 when a friend, who was going to massage school in
Chicago, gave me a massage and played The Speckless Sky during it. I once
told her that I had a massage while hearing it for the first time and she
said that it was an interesting choice of music for a massage. I first saw
her live in '87 and have seen her many times since. My husband and I
bought her harp when she put it up for auction in 2006 and she brought it
to us in San Francisco and spent the afternoon with us. That was great.
I love many of her albums, with my favorite being The Walking. I really
love the live recording she put out a few years ago. I am very excited
that she is working on a new record and am hoping it is full of songs we've
never heard. I'm also hoping she makes hard copies of it available on cd
or vinyl.
Happy to be chatting with you all again.
