palominos w/ schnabel is an apt description. no offense to him - was just curious what this music or project might sound like w/ a different singer. made me think of Science Faxtion & how good/great that could've/should've been w/ bill producing instead of greg hampton.

and there's nothing wrong with that...i've tried hard in recent years not to judge people's likes and dislikes with music. there are a million reasons why something may ring true to someone that just doesn't work for me at all.i'm not saying that i don't judge sometimes. i just TRY not too ;)

I wouldn't doubt that Bill at least has copies.

Interesting. Nice write up. If really like to hear this music in a different context (ie without Schnabel!).This release is why the had a falling out. I believe Bill echoed the sentiments of the writer here - never should have happened.

Probablymost of you have seen this, butUbuweb also has one of Bill Laswell's more obscure projects, the artist Julian Scabel's venture into music. He had a true stellar backing band....http://www.ubu.com/sound/schnabel.html
