Per the recording live shows to sell as downloads (&/or physical release), etc discussion there's been here in the past it occurred to me that Zorn seemingly has the perfect scenario to pull that off (IF it can be done in an economically viable way) since it's a set, well-known location/venue (in NYC at least) & his name would provide adequate "marketing" to make their availability "known." I know of the 2 or 3 'The Stone Issues' that have been put out - just wonder why that isn't done more often. Especially for the better known names that play there. He has the record label too obviously. The "split" between all the various parties might be an issue but some equitable distribution seems possible. I'm not in that business so presumably if he thought it was worthwhile &/or a sustainable money maker he'd be doing it more already.

I believe at this point most will involve Bill. Zorn changed the structure a little while back from each month being curated by one person to each week being a residency. Right now I believe that at least one night will be one if the Method of Defiance line-ups.

Is Bill going to perform or is he just the week's curator?

For those planning their trips to The Stone in April - Bill's week has been pushed back by the venue. It will now run Tuesday April 22nd to Sunday the 27th. Hope to announce some of the line-ups soon as well as what may be happening for the 10PM "The Western Lands" gig on the 19th.
