I agree, Painkiller is an unexpected very good surprise. I had heard previous bootleged recording of various shows of Painkiller - Yoshida period, and wasn't really convinced. But there, it really works. ----- Mail original ----- De: "Octavio Lemos" <[email protected]> À: [email protected] Envoyé: Lundi 10 Février 2014 11:15:53 Objet: Re: [laswell] Tum Records [...] Changing the subject, ... i've been listening to Painkiller's Prophecy and i just love it. I know that some Painkiller "purists" :) miss Mick Harris, but i think that jazz drummers like Yoshida or Drake push Laswell to another level. Hiss playing becomes less agressive, it's true, but on the other hand much more dynamic. It's my last year's Laswell favourite together with the Brotzmann/Laswell/Drake/Gania set included in Brotzmann's live box "Long Story Short". Octávio
