Attendance in Chicago was better than I anticipated given the high ticket p=
rice. The first set was a little light -- akin to, say, the crowd size the =
last time MoD played the Knit. The second set was quite full. I was happy t=
o see that, as it might encourage those guys to play here again.

 learning to listen - as he acknowledged that issue. And it
 showed. Both as a trio and when he played in tandem with

 It wasn't packed. But if they
 set tables up, I don't know that it would have been
 comfortable. I get the feeling they opted for standing room
 because of the presumed crowd. Also not bad when you figure
 the set was only about 45 minutes.=C2=A0

       Dave, I think you're being overly kind about
 the previous incarnation of Bladerunner. I saw the NY and
 Victo shows, which were both train wrecks. Lombardo
 didn't seem to be listening to anyone else in the group,
 and the disconnect between him and Frith(who usually gets
 along well with drummers) was painfully obvious. Was the
 turnout at LPR high enough to justify making it a standing
 room only event? (That being the reason I opted out)
