If you love Owain Phyfe as much as I do, which all of you must since

you've joined this group, you can surely sympathize with the

disappointment I felt when I discovered that he wasn't playing at

Scarborough Faire (the Waxahachie Renaissance Faire in Texas) this

year. I learned from Cantiga that due to budget cutbacks, Owain

wasn't tapped to perform this year. I spoke with Owain at a local

concert, and both he and Cantiga encouraged me to contact Scarborough

Faire and ask them to bring him back next year.

I'm asking all of you who can find the time, whether or not you are

in the Texas area, to please go to

comments to, and ask them to bring Owain back next year. The more

people who write them, the better our chances. Imagine how

disappointed you would be if you rushed through the gates of your
