GLMF Faire Dates

Hi all. Griffin here, from The Griffin Works.

Just writing an email to all of you who haven't noticed that
Great Lakes Medieval Festival has officially changed their dates from
July 8-August 13. Our contract dates are July 1-August 6. For
those of you whom it may concern, the last weekend of GLMF is also the
start of Pittsburgh Ren Fest, as well as GenCon weekend, and the start of
War Week at Pennsic War.. I don't know about you,

but this puts a serious ka-bash on my schedule for this summer.
Personally, I'll go to Greal Lakes and stay for my contracted
dates...ending August 6th.

Just wanted to let you all know what is going on.
Apparently Larry changed the dates to avoid the weekend of July 4th
because of lower attendance, but hasn't othered to officially tell any of
us yet, and ,most likely hasn't bothered to consider the ramifications of
his decision. Now some of us may have to make hard decisions as to
how to proceed.

Take care, and I hope everything works out for the best for
all of us. Please let others know that are not on this email list
so they are aware and ca begin to make any due scheduling changes.
