New Roland Ferrandi site

Roland found our website and invites you to click on in to his site which 
features information on Renaissance era instruments (lute, cittern, baroque 
guitar), MP3 recordings of his own interpretations, and links to other 
sources of Renaissance era musical history. A must for musical 
Renaissance fans.

Roland also plays the battente, chitarrino battente, and chitarra battente.
The chitarra battente is of course the instrument most dear to Owain
Phyfe and I believe he never leaves home without it.   Roland has a
chitarra battente made by Vincenzo and Costantino De Bonis of Calabria,
Italy.   Of course you all know that the chitarra battente or "Renaissance
Guitar" originated in Calabria.
