Well, some of us here will know that if you try to make EM by just pushing buttons, what you end up with is utter crap. Real musicality and expression is from within the creator, and requires skill no matter what instrument one plays ... even if that instrument is a computer. The music still has to be played into it!

But I agree with everyone else here that there is no point in arguing with him. I'd just make a running joke about it with him. Maybe there's an equally ridiculous term that you could call his music. :)
