I've had a lot of CD-R problems and I've been told that with the top brands you might get ten years trouble-free playback from them if you're lucky. After that noises may appear or there may be muting for varying periods of time - or the discs may not play at all! Cheaper brands may only last three or so years. I download a lot of FLAC files now from various electronica sites and find most of them of excellent quality.

  Sorry Morgan, I can't seem to find them on your website; keen to download as my old Tree CDRs don't play anymore.... been reading your page regarding what brand CDRs, players etc. Like everything you get out as good as you put in....
