One trick I've found to making TD tracks more distrinctive in my mind is to shuffle the playback order. Sometimes always hearing the tracks in a certain order can elevate or diminish them in preference. I've found hearing tracks stand-alone gives new perspective, too.

Well, first off I wanted to say that I'm glad TD didn't play it so "safe" as many of us were worried by listening to the Quantum Gate Soundcloud preview. They have gone off into some new and interesting directions.


However, on the other end of that, there seems to be a lacking sense of musical structure, of growth, within the tracks. Certain parts are very memorable, but the one that really stands out all the way through to me is the first track. Maybe it'll just take more listens. DM4 took a bit but ended up being awesome. I have listened to this many times already, though, and I'm still not quite sure what I make of it.
