Re: Fw: new message

Please note that my email account is NOT compromised, but someone[s] are out there sending out lots of messages with my email address spoofed as the “sender” and/or “return to” email address.  Unfortunately Yahoo is not capable of distingueshing between a message that I have actually sent from my actual email account versus one that spammers/scammers are sending out and spoofing my email address.

In any case, I NEVER send out messages with “new message” as the subject (that would be kind of redundant...) and neither do I just send a link WITHOUT specifying what’s at the other end of that link, NOR do I simply sign my emails with my email address!   My normal way of ending a message is:

PS:  So please, do NOT ever click on any messages from anyone that have that kind of format.  I get lots of these sent to me each day, spoofing other people’s email addresses that I know to be spoofed!   I do not know what happens at these websites, especially ones with links that end in PHP (a website programming language / tool), so just don’t!
