I love the retro sound. What I would like to know is: Is this the direction Mr. Froese was planning to take the group; or, is this the direction the New Tangerine Dream is being taken by the current members? The new Netflix series "Stranger Things" embraces the warmth of Tangerine Dream music from the 80's, making use of Green Desert, Exit, and Horizon, not to mention its heavily-inspired opening theme song. Well last night, the reformed Tangerine Dream released a new lovely track on Soundcloud which is their love letter back to Stranger Things. Why are you still reading this? Go listen!
