I'm sorry to hear that, you missed a really good one.

The audio quality was incredible, though most people had an occasional
buffering problem on the video side. Listening with high -quality
headphones made me feel like I was almost there. There were numerous
camera angles with regular position changes including close-ups from various
locations. I didn't see camera operators so perhaps they were embedded into
the stage set up somehow.

There were several improvised sections including a 30+ minute encore. The
show lasted nearly 2 hours and 45 minutes overall with no intermission, and
only about 90 seconds of stuff I didn't find pleasing. One thing I regret
missing much of was a long form version of Ricochet, which was played during
one of the few times I lost both audio and video simultaneously. I was
watching in a room with a larger mirror, and saw my reflection with a big
smile several times, including during "Genesis of Precious Thoughts", a full
length version of "Song of the Whale part 2 -dusk", and of course the
improve pieces which included lots of ambience and sequences, with Hoshiko's
violin soaring above many parts.

One would hope that it sees the light of day as a cd and/or DVD in the
future. Many of us were chatting live on Facebook during the entire show,
which reminded me of the "listening parties" on tadream back in the 90s.
The general feeling was that this concert was a defining moment in the
bands 50 year history, and where it became clear that the legacy was in good
hands. I was glad tohave been part of it, albeit remotely.

Bianca came up to talk after the show, and mentioned things in the pipeline
for the 50th anniversary, including the Quantam album, the book, and more
concerts saying something to the effect they gone on as long as we want
them.
