Technically very well done, it's kind of a sequel to Romance 76 and Trans Harmonic Nights.


I think it owes even more to the direction that was glimpsed on "Haunted Heights" on the 70'80 boxset — and it even includes a rework of that track! I gotta wonder if there might have been other late 70s drafts that went into this in some way too.

Competent work anyway, and no trace of his pop years in there. The soundworld is thoroughly modernized. I've yet to get into the heart of it though, there's nothing immediately "hooking" in there for me. Then again my musical appetite has been falling for some years now in general.
