True, true. But we can still get a good idea about a period of a couple months when Sorcerer was probably done. Likewise in let's say 1984, we know that several OSTs were recorded then, and while we may never know with absolute certainty which came first, second, third, especially if they were done at around the same time, we could still get pretty close by looking at dates and then by listening to the sounds of them. For sure, at some level we'll always be estimating, but right now we don't have a good source that consolidates our best information from the recording date side of things.
