Re: the book force majeure

There's a particularly nice group photo during the Cyclone tour of either Steve Jolliffe or Edgar doing bunny ears behind Chris Franke's back.  It's an interesting read so far, and hints at some interesting things to come up later in the book.


I'm reluctant to give away any details though to those yet to receive a copy.  A lot of it so far consists of entertaining tales of woe and catastrophe on tour in the early days.  Plus an incident in the first chapter after meeting Dali that's too weird to have been made up.

Received mine back end of last week at work, so opened the box and then put it all back in the box - been too busy of late to open the book again other than check the quality (excellent) and the photo section.

I received the English version about a week or two ago.  Very interesting so far (I've only got as far as them signing to Virgin), a very dense read in that it tends to look at individual moments and puts the user in the moment.


It is not a very practical size however, so I'll not be reading it on my commute to work, it'll be a couple of the large pages getting read a night.  If it were a standard size book it would possibly run to about 800+ pages.
