Well Robert, maybe you got the Giant Teutonic Tablet since....which Poland album, the original or the 2CD from last year?
If you meant the original, and anyone else wonders and comes here, all I can say is that Edgar devotes a long, extensive chapter to the Polish Tour. He focuses often on 'Johnny' s (Herr Schmoelling) smoking, but it's harrowing and moving to see what TD endured especially in this case, motivated by the bleak conditions the people suffered there, to try to bring a bit of happiness to them.
I only got to that chapter, I don't know if he gets to the recordings later.
It's also moving to read his opinion of the original s/tk for the 'Legend' movie...........I wish this book was even more extensive though, but glad of course to be reading it at all, so many of this country's citizens having been culled by the Nazi regime in power for many long years here in the land of Mordor - the Divided Kingdom.
