The [tangerinedream] Yahoo list was primarily focused on TD collectors. Announcing and looking for rare items. This is where you would go to get info and hope to fill your collection. As many know, that list changed and never really served its function. [tadream] was functioning better. ZEST took the crop and made it better. I’ve contacted the list owner and it looks like he is no longer registered. Maybe I’m wrong so I’ll wait for a reply. So maybe I’ll be the lone moderator of this list. But it looks like posts are close to zero. I sure hope no one 'has >the power' to do that. Only the list creator has the power. If they passed the list off to a moderator and then unsubscribed, no one can cancel the list. >Yeah I like that track on Sessions 1 too, music is >soooo hit & miss.......some are put off by the distortion, >I think it adds to it. Back in the mid to late 70's, the "live" stuff was often highly structured because it had been written, rehearsed, and then tweaked in the studio later -- in this cases where they weren't fake-live studio productions to begin with. The Sessions recordings seem to be genuinely live with more improvisation like in the early 70's -- and as such, they are of questionable musical coherence much of the time.
