digest mode

A few minutes ago, I posted:

then remembered to try the procedure recommended at the end:

Doing that claims to have worked.  Don't know why my subscription mode
would have spontaneously changed, but I'll guess it was some sort of
side-effect of the other recent changes by Yahoo.
