Is there a region one version of the director's cut on DVD? Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

The director's cut is much better because so much is left out of the theatrical release that adds to the movie and why things are happening the way they are. Although the Jerry Goldsmith score is good, the music is better on the theatrical version. I say watch the director's cut then re-watch the theatrical version later.

film - a little too much saccharide added. That said: too much was cut from the American version; there needs to be some exposition to explain who’s who and what’s going on. Yeah, you can leave some things to the imagination, but you’re left asking “why”
