I have a box load of various tapes that I traded for in the 90=E2=80=99s (r=
emember Lars Jones).
Anybody need these tapes? Contact me. There was also the Virtual Files seri=
es and others too.

I'm not sure if I'm the right person to initiate or even help such a projec=
t, but I'd like to chronologue TD's Tape Trading culture of the 80's and 90=
's, Keen Auricle, the Tangerine Tree and Leaves, TD dabbling in their own l=
ive recordings, and finally these subsequent releases. Big project and mayb=
e a limited audience.. I think landing an interview with Heiko Heerssen wou=
ld be key. Hopefully enough time has passed that frank discussion is possib=
le. But so many have contributed in so many ways and it would be a bummer i=
f it were all forgotten.

I appreciate the person who recorded then uploaded the broadcast. It's i=
nteresting how there's a bunch of concerts popping up in good quality as of=
late. I mean, the Glasgow 74 recording was quite the nice surprise. It's=
also cool about the concerts that were included in the In Search of Hades =
set, even though you have to pay a ton to get them.
It makes me wonder how many more such recordings are still out there wait=
ing to be discovered in the wild. I wonder why the Spanish station had thi=
s recording and only just now broadcast it. Were they the ones who recorde=
d the show back in 80 and just never broadcast it? That recording sat in s=
ome closet for decades before coming to light, luckily still in good shape.
I imagine the folks behind the Tree project spent tons of time and energy=
hunting down the best recordings to include, especially when they were act=
ually able to get a hold of radio recordings. How many radio stations arou=
nd the world recorded these concerts and just sat on the tapes? For the Ha=
des set, did Edgar just not have access to those recordings for some reason=
?? I'm sure he would've loved to release them as part of the 'vault' serie=
s.
Either way, however it's happening, it's awesome to see more classic conc=
ert recordings of good quality coming to light. Hopefully it'll keep going=
considering there's no more TD with Edgar.
If Wouter Bessels finds out about this recording, I hope he'll be able to=
secure a copy from the radio station so it can be included in the next Off=
icial Bootleg Series set.

I came across a pair of videos the other day that feature the audio f=
rom the concert TD did in Barcelona 1980. Apparently it was recently broad=
