Java client monitor tool

Hi all,

I need to write a java client that will look at certain java process
within an application server and then push information directly into BB
running on Solaris. Has anyone had any experience opening the port via
Java and sending the formatted test to the BB server? I am looking for
either working example code or documentation that describes this
activity.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
