Is it just the http, https, and ssh tests that are failing? Can you
manually, from your Big Brother server, wget or ssh to the target client?
That should help isolate if it's a Big Brother issue, or if there's
something else going on (like the client doesn't allow connections from
the Big Brother server).

In order to get from what was to what will be, you must go
through what is.

Subject
{bb} Ubuntu, Big Brother, and Purple
Has anyone been running ubuntu and Big Brother and
had purple problems? I am running version bb19a.
I've read the help section on purple problems and
have deleted the entries from all the files stated
there but they continue to show up purple. It is
only for several devices that are doing http, https,
and ssh checks. I have a bunch of other devices
that are being checked for http, https, and ssh and
they are being updated every 5 minutes.
Searched the email list archives. Per one persons
instruction, I removed BBPAGER from the bb-hosts
file. Now, I'm not getting any purple conditions
but the devices in question seem to never be polled
for http, https, or ssh.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Jerry
