   No problem.  I'm just merging in those changes I made that are
   independent of the #include reorganization.  (When you are satisfied
   that the reorganization is OK, I'll merge that in too.)

I just checked in the #include reorganization; I decided it was easier
to do this and then change it later if there is a better way to do it.
That way I can finish the changes by editing the C++ files to reflect
the new organization.
