I'm using a variant I call BEEPX which uses pure XML for the framing (after
the session start packets) because we're talking to a Flash client which
can parse XML a lot more efficiently than textual wrappers.

I ended up writing my own stack in C++ because I need it running on OS/X,
PocketPC, Win32 and possibly Palm and had a lot of trouble even getting
started building beepcore-c on Win32.

The application is for data transmission, triggering and settings for the
IBVA personal brainwave transmitters (http://www.ibva.com/).
