I think this is probably just as well, if you are writing an asynchronous (nonblocking) sort of application, which beepcore-c seems fairly well suited for. I suppose if you want to have a simple app using blocking calls it might get a bit annoying, as you'd have to set alarms/timers to wake you up if that blocking call doesn't return in a reasonable amount of time. ------------------------------------------------------- -- David C.
