Well, there should be a pointer in the frame you get to the payload, do
you need mroe extration than this?

Sending payload would be done by sending the buffer, you can look at the 
beepng utility to see an example of puting arbitrary random data into a
frame and sending it.

I guess I don't really understand the question if this does nto answer it
for you.
