Another Beepcore-c Problem

I am getting the following message after sending a few hundred messages:

Unexpected error(7) Queued new message before previous answered

It comes out of CBEEP.c, but its meaning is a bit obscure to me.  I was 
planning to more aggressively track it down once I've dealt with the 
memory leaks.  Is anyone else familiar with what would cause it?
